Cancellation Policy

We respectfully ask for a minimum of 12 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Failure to do so will result in a charge of 100% of the service fee.

Late cancellations or missed appointments prevent us from accommodating other clients and create an inconvenience for our therapists. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. In turn, we will strive to provide notice if we need to cancel or reschedule your session.

Late Arrival Policy

Please arrive at least 5 minutes before your appointment to allow time for any intake questions.

If you are running late, please contact us to inform your therapist. While we will do our best to accommodate you, late arrivals may result in a shortened session to ensure the next client’s appointment starts on time. Full service fees will still apply.

Inappropriate Behavior Policy

Massage therapy is strictly for therapeutic and remedial purposes. Any inappropriate behavior, including sexual insinuations, gestures, or requests, will result in the immediate termination of your session. If necessary, we may file a report with the appropriate authorities.

Transfer Policy

If you cannot attend your booked session and are unable to cancel or reschedule, you may transfer your session to a friend or another client. This must be communicated in advance and agreed upon by your therapist. The therapist reserves the right to decline transfers if contraindications exist for the new client.

Privacy Policy

At Active Impact Massage, your privacy is a priority. We implement secure physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to protect your personal information. However, please note that online data transmission may not always be 100% secure.

We may collect:

• Name, contact information, and email address

• Date of birth and emergency contact

• Credit card details and payment history

• Demographic information (e.g., postcode)

• Relevant medical information for massage therapy sessions

Your information is used solely for providing services, customer support, and marketing updates with your consent.

Pricing and Refunds

All prices are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD). Prices exclude GST and are subject to change with notice.

Refund Policy:

• Refunds are not provided for change of mind, address, or other personal reasons.

• Refunds will only be issued if goods or services are not delivered.

Payment Processing:

• Online payments are processed via Stripe.

• In-person payments are accepted via bank transfer. (Eftpos is coming soon)

• Additional fees for insufficient funds or disputed transactions may apply.

By booking with us, you consent to receiving marketing updates regarding promotions and news from Active Impact Massage.

General Liability Release

By booking with Active Impact Massage, you agree to the following:

• Massage therapy is not a substitute for medical treatment or medication.

• Therapists do not diagnose, treat, or prescribe for illnesses or injuries.

• Risks associated with massage therapy include short-term soreness, superficial bruising, or aggravation of undiscovered injuries.

You release Active Impact Massage and its therapists from liability for any injuries or discomfort arising from the session.

You agree to inform your therapist of all medical conditions, medications, and any discomfort experienced during the session. Both you and the therapist have the right to terminate the session at any time.
